Bantams [3rd & 4th]
3RD GRADE | 4TH GRADE
Our Bantam Team focuses on the development of core lacrosse skills and introduces field positioning and advanced rules of the game. As a Bantam, players will have the opportunity to compete against neighboring teams, in a 7v7 format, on a smaller field, with modified rules. As they learn the fundamentals, they will also be working to cultivate confidence and build a foundation of sportsmanship and teamwork in a fun and safe space.

PRACTICES | GAMES
Spring Season: End of March through beginning of June
Practice Days: TBD
Time: TBD
Location: Practices will be held on the lacrosse fields at Nevers Park.
*subject to change based on weather and field playability.
Games: Generally one game each week, with 50% of the games requiring travel to neighboring towns. The Bantam schedule may also include participation in a youth lacrosse tournament.
SW ATHLETES
Spring registration will be limited to South Windsor athletes. Should there be open roster spots, we will extend registration to athletes from neighboring towns without their own youth lacrosse programs. Recognizing that several nearby town leagues are experiencing low program numbers, we aim to thoughtfully guide athletes from surrounding towns to those programs for the upcoming season.
