InHouse/Lightning [K,1ST, 2ND]

Our K-2 lacrosse program blends the best of our InHouse and Lightning teams to create one unified, development-focused experience for our youngest athletes. This program introduces brand-new players to the fundamentals while also offering returning players opportunities for age-appropriate gameplay and scrimmages.

The InHouse component focuses on teaching core lacrosse skills in a fun, supportive environment. Players learn the basics while they strengthen their confidence, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

The Lightning component allows returning and more advanced players to build on these fundamentals by incorporating more structured drills, in-team scrimmages, and friendly matches against other local Lightning programs.

Together, this combined program provides a safe, engaging pathway to learn, grow, and fall in love with lacrosse - no matter their experience level.

Spring Season: April and May

Practice Day: Saturday

Location: Practices will be held on the lacrosse fields at Nevers Park.

*subject to change based on weather and field playability.

Spring registration will be limited to South Windsor athletes. Should there be open roster spots, we will extend registration to athletes from neighboring towns without their own youth lacrosse programs. Recognizing that several nearby town leagues are experiencing low program numbers, we aim to deliberately guide athletes from surrounding towns to those programs for the upcoming season.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:

Proper equipment is required for each practice and game.
